The Solo2 DL with ECU Connection

Connecting to over a 1,000+ ECUs, we are sure it will work for you.

You can connect your Solo2 DL to the ECU, with a simple ODB11 plug or hardwired in, to providing you with all your car's information and power with just one cable.

Incase your ECU protocol is not in the database, no problem: with our ECU Driver Builder you can build your own its free in Race Studio 3 configuration software and you will be able to create your protocol on your own.

Coil RPM Input

Solo2 DL now also features a digital input, allowing you to log RPM either from square wave signals (8-50V each signal) or a pulse signals (150-450v) ignition coil trigger-primary circuit.

Multiple Configurations Management

Solo2 DL can receive up to 10 configurations at one time allowing you to switch among them through keys.

The Most Precise and Easy Way to get Lap Times

AiM Solo2 DL is the most precise GPS lap timer there is with the ability to show you your lap delta live as you drive... receiving data from two satellite constellations from any where on the globe by using GPS and Glonass, also giving you a significant improvement in data speed and positioning precision.

Powering on requires only a few seconds and lap times are calculated with a max 2/100 sec of tolerance.

Solo2 DL gives instant Speed, Timing, Splits live data and predictive lap times.

Predictive Lap Timer

The AiM Solo2 DL has 10 configurable RGB LEDs, and will give you a clear and fast indication of the comparison with your last lap. Predictive page: shows the predicted current lap time in the format you set.

Solo2 DL Data Recall Modes

Solo2 DL can manage two types of data or races:

In each of these configurations Solo2 DL gives the complete information during the test with the data ready to view on the Solo2 DL or Race Studio analysis software immediately after each race or test session.

Data Recall on Screen Data

At the end of your test you can quickly review all the key information on your display, RPM, Temps Times ECT.

SmartyCam HD or HD GP Connection

The perfect connection to get all your data from the ECU, merge them with the GPS information and transmit everything to the SmartyCam HD then watch the graphical overlay in the video.

Solo 2 DL New Track Creation and our Track Database

Solo2 DL allows you to simply create a new temporary or permanent track layout, whether its a point to point run for rallying, or a closed loop track, it can simply be added to the Solo2 DL and PC database.

Simply put if there is no track already the Solo2 DL will create a new one...

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

 The AiM tyre pressure monitoring system kit comes with a wiring harness four, eight or twelve sensors and a CAN receiver which is compatible for race car applications and competitions. The receiver utilises 1Mbit CAN (11bit) which has become the standard over the years for most professional ECUs, data loggers and dashboards within the motorsport and automotive sectors.

The receiver is pre-coded with 4 sensors which it will use.

Each sensor is labelled FR, FL, RR, RL for each of the wheels of the car.

Extra wheels can be clone coded that can then be used as sets of spares for pit changes.

The wire colour codes are:

+12V - Red
Ground - Black
CAN+ - Green
CAN- - White

Sensors

The AiM TPMS sensors are already clone coded FR, FL, RR, RL so all you need to do is connect your sensors to the correct tyre and all the data will be recorded on the receiver and then overlay on to your dash logger.

You can add as many sensors as you like, you will need to clone a sensor using the handheld reader.

Please Note: Should you require to purchase extra sensors you will need to purchase the Handheld programming unit in order to be able to manually programme the sensors.

Not Enough

You can add a Handheld Reader / Programmer.

The handheld reader can read each wheel individually, It reads by close proximity whereas the CAN receiver uses a radio link to the sensors with the address of each sensor pre-defined as to which wheel is being measured.

TPMS Connections

 The AiM Tyre Pressure Monitoring System can be used with all of our dash display loggers (except Solo2). You can add a 4x CAN connection multiplier and a GPS module or our SmartyCam cameras to your system. See diagram below:
