The MyChron 6 lap timer is the newest data acquisition device in our MyChron series. Expanding on the features of its predecessor, the MyChron 6 GPS Lap Timer & Thermocouple Sensor is sure to revolutionise how drivers and teams monitor and analyse performance on the track.
Due to its highly accurate 25 Hz GPS tracking, larger screen to display delta times, comprehensive data logging capabilities, user-friendly interface and ability to monitor vehicle temperature, the MyChron 6 lap timer provides detailed performance analysis for both amateur and professional racers.
Note: With the MyChron 6 GPS lap timer & thermocouple sensor, you can choose either a Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor (under plug), M5 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor or a T12 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor. Only one sensor is supplied.
Accurate Lap Times & Data Analysis
Using the integrated 25 Hz GPS chipset, MyChron 6 GPS lap timer delivers extremely accurate lap times and position data. It allows you to analyse racing lines, cornering speeds and braking points through the free Race Studio 3 software. The device is also ready for future mobile app integration with iPhone and Android.
Data transfer is seamless via built-in Wi-Fi or the USB-C connection, making it quick and easy to review and manage your data after every session.
Advanced Display & LED System
The wide pixel display ensures excellent readability, even in changing light conditions, with adjustable RGB backlight options. This larger display ensures that drivers can clearly monitor their best vs their current sector time to make real time adjustments to improve their delta time.
With the MyChron 6 GPS Lap Timer & Thermocouple Sensor, the 5 RGB shift lights can be customised to show delta lap times or act as a traditional shift indicator. The 2 RGB alarm LEDs can also provide real time engine monitoring of vehicle temperature to ensure the kart is operating within optimal parameters, preventing overheating and potential damage. With the MyChron 6, everything is configurable to suit your needs.
Rechargeable Lithium Battery
The MyChron 6 lap timer is powered by a lithium battery, with a battery life of up to 20 hours of use. The device can also be recharged using a USB Type C cable which is included in the box.
Analyse Your Kart's Performance
The integrated 6-axis inertial platform provides detailed insights into your kart's dynamics, including steering position analysis for understanding oversteer and understeer. This feature helps fine-tune your kart setup for optimal performance on the track.
Analyse with Race Studio 3
With Race Studio 3, you can analyse all data recorded by the MyChron 6 lap timer and download it to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study your performance, providing objective support to avoid mistakes and improve performance.
