M10 VDO Pressure Sensor 0-10 Bar 0-145 PSI

The VDO Pressure sensor for pressure readings of fluids such as oil and gasoline. Please do not use it to measure brake pressure.

Key Features :

0-10 Bar (0-145 PSI) 4 pins 719 male binder

The VDO Pressure Sensor 0-10 Bar 0-145 PSI

The VDO Pressure sensor for pressure readings of fluids such as oil and gasoline. Please do not use it to measure brake pressure.  It needs a careful installation.

The 0-10 bar sensor is made of a cylinder – with M10*1 thread that has to be screwed to the engine – and two connectors that sample GND and pressure signals. If the engine thread is more significant than the cylinder thread, AiM suggests using joints. AiM recommends you tightly screw the sensor to the engine so that vibrations do not loosen it.

The VDO sensor cable ends with a four pins Binder 719 male connector. Between pins 1 and 4 of the connector is mounted a 1,8 kΩ resistor. AiM recommends not to tamper with the sensor, or it will not work.

Connections

The sensor comes with a 45cm cable as standard. You will most likely need a custom patch lead to suit your wiring specifications.

MXS / MXP / MXG / MXL (Strada and Pista) / MXL2 / EVO5 / MXm etc harnesses are fitted with 719 connections. To extend the length between your dash display/logger and the analogue sensor, please use the 719 - 719 patch lead, which is available in various lengths from 0.5 - 3 metres. For most installations, you will need one of these leads.

EVO4 / EVO4S logger / Channel Expansion are fitted with 712 connections and require a 712 - 719 patch lead to connect these sensors.
