Revie’s excited to start his racing career despite being late to start
Revie Lake, from Stoke-on-Trent, will undertake his first season in motorsport by contesting the Ginetta Junior Championship with Elite Motorsport.
Revie, the 15-year-old son of Steven Lake who raced in British GT and European GT4 Championships last year, has only been in a kart a handful of times in testing but has accumulated an abundance of mileage on the simulator.
* The Ginetta G40 Junior Evo is powered by a 1.8-litre engine producing 100bhp.
Revie Lake (UK)Age: 15Lives: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (UK) “Despite my lack of physical racing experience, I’ll be aiming for a Rookie class win and hopefully an overall top-ten in the championship this year. “I have very little experience at the moment compared to many of the other drivers I’ll be up against but I am very much looking forward to the challenge. “I have taught myself everything I know up until now on a simulator, practising daily, combined with some guidance from my dad.“I’m under no illusion of the tough challenge that lies ahead and that I’m making a big jump. “But I believe with the help and experience of Elite Motorsport, I can make the transition and am very excited and raring to go.”

“We are really pleased to announce Revie joining us for 2025. “Although he has a very limited racing experience, he has been around cars and motorsport for many years. “So I’m confident this will aid his progression where he has already had moments of looking fast in testing.” |
