The AiM MX2E Plug & Play Dash Logger & SmartyCam 3 Corsa is our ultimate kit for track days. With real-time overlay videos, this kit will certainly help improve your lap times and push your boundaries.
The AiM MX2E Plug & Play Dash Logger kit has been specifically designed for the Lotus Elise and Exige 2004-2020 models (fitted with a Toyota engine)*. The dash features a 6" high contrast, high-quality TFT display with 18 integrated LEDs, and is mounted in the included bespoke instrument cluster.
2004-2007 (version with airbag) will require an adaptor harness, available to select at the top of the page.
The cluster is easy to install and includes housing for the included GPS Module. There are four integrated buttons (two on each side) built into the sides for scrolling through the pages/menus. When switched on the MX2E will automatically recognize the venue and start to download the start/finish coordinates and calculate lap times when these coordinates are crossed. We already have over 4,000 tracks on our database, if you are at a track not on the database, it is possible to create and load it on the database using our Race Studio 3 Software.

Display
The MX2E dash has two types of display. You can choose between the road or track and even choose between analogue or digital. There are 16 display layouts to choose from, with four different colour options. Also supplied with a GPS Module which will provide accurate GPS speed, lap timing and track mapping. You can view the track data directly from the dash or more in-depth analysis can be viewed using our Race Studio 3 Software. This will enable you to understand graphs, histograms and tables to help you make comparisons to different laps or sessions on track days.
With a wide range of icons available on the display, this dash offers a vast source of information while you are driving.
Integrated LEDs
The MX2E features 18 solid LEDs - left or right direction, shift light made up of 10 LEDs, hand brake on, fuel level low, immobiliser on, position lights on, high beam on and engine problems.
Data Hub
The data hub included in the kit provides you with four additional CAN channels and works as an interface between your MX2E and your SmartyCam 3 Corsa. The Data Hub will enable you to add a Lambda Controller, TC Hub, or more cameras. The data hub is available in a choice of two lengths 40cm or 150cm.
SmartyCam Corsa
The NEW SmartyCam 3 Corsa saves all your information to a supported SD card for up to 2TB of data, this includes speed, RPM, lap number, gear shifts and many more features. With a built-in data logger running on an external power of 9-15 volts, the new SmartyCam 3 Corsa automatically powers on and off in sync with your engine – and will start/stop recording for you. Analyse your data from a vast range of sources such as GPS track map, vehicle position and speed, and lap & split times.
The video format is at H.264 1920x1080 pixels, 60 FPS, and the display resolution of 128x128 pixels gives your footage crisp condition. Our quality doesn’t falter, even under the pressure of extreme motorsport conditions such as poor weather, strong vibrations, continuous rain, and high/low temperatures as extreme as -10°C to + 50°C. Our camera is also waterproof (IP65) for extra protection. With the built-in data logger experience enhanced RPM, throttle, engaged gears, acceleration, temperatures, and pressures including a tri-axis accelerometer measuring 16G.

Automatic Start/Stop
When you're at the starting grid the last thing you want to be doing is fumbling around with your camera. The SmartyCam 3 Corsa has been designed with this in mind and switches on/off automatically and starts/stops recording in the same way.
The SmartyCam 3 Corsa can be switched on by the logger it is connected to. Switch-off is automatic too, you decide after what period of non-activity the camera will switch off.
Recording can also be started/stopped automatically or via the keyboard. With an automatic switch-on, the camera will start recording when the speed or RPM threshold is exceeded. In this case, you can simply decide how long after dropping below the selected threshold the video will automatically stop.

Configuration
With Race Studio 3, you can create, modify, delete, import and export configurations with all channels, ECU drivers, Math channels, Display Pages, Digital outputs, Alarms, Shift Lights and all the expansions you need. You will also be able to manage the map of your racing tracks and compare two laps by watching the video recorded by SmartyCam HD cameras.
Analysis
With Race Studio 3, you can also analyse all data recorded by MX2E and download it to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study your performance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes and ultimately help to improve performance.
